Pass or Fail

Good morning Boca the sun is out get your gloves up I hope everybody had a wonderful Valentine's Day put down the chocolates and pick up you jump ropes and let's get serious about our nutrition.
It seems these days that everybody is an expert on nutrition everybody knows what's healthy everybody knows what's unhealthy. The problem with all of these online-experts. None of them can make their plan work and a 55% obesity rate only strengthens my assertions.
I'm not sure about you guys but when I was in school if I was going to cheat on a test I copied off the smart person's paper not the dumbest kid in class. To be brutally honest if you're heavy and you're giving nutrition advice it's just wrong but if you're listening to nutrition advice from somebody who's not fit that's stupid.
What all you newbies to nutrition need to understand is, there is a difference between philosophy, concepts, and practical application. If you can't apply the nutrition principle because it's not practical then you've accomplished nothing.
(These results took only 24 day. She was eating 1200 calories a day and training 4 hours a week)

Understanding Nutrition

Understanding Nutrition, Metabolism, and Health

There is a saying: “Athletes Eat to Train all others Diet and Workout.”

Reframe the statement to change the way you look at food.

Food is Fuel: each component of nutrition plays a specific role in fueling our minds and bodies. The four components focused on are Calories, Carbohydrates, Fats, and Proteins.

A. Calories consumed subtracting your Resting Metabolic Rate (the calories your body burns off to function throughout the day) provides a number. This is where exercise and calorie burning come into play.

B. Carbohydrates are the main source and best source of energy. The comparison will be to gasoline and the three grades of it. The cheapest gas will be sugary items, the midgrade gas are white starches and fruit, and the expensive premium gas are low glycemic foods such as, brown rice.

             C. Fats - Good Fats and Bad Fats ???? Lift up your shirt and tell me which luv handle is the good fat and which one is the bad fat...
             D. Proteins - Grill Everything

The metabolism: is simple cause and effect, you’re eating habits past and present (Nutrition) determines how slow or fast you Metabolize food. The metabolism is constantly working, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and it remembers everything you eat. Every individual has an ideal breakdown of calories for every meal consumed.

A. Current body composition

B. Current Health

C.  Fitness goals will determine your daily calorie intake.
